If we’re going to have continual spiritual growth, we need these four truths in our lives.
1. Be
.
“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;” Psalm 92:12 (NIV)
“He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. 1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,”
Romans 4:25-5:1 (NIV)
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
2. Provide
.
“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;” Psalm 92:12 (NIV)
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
John 10:10 (NIV)
3. Grow where
.
“planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.”
Psalm 92:13 (NIV)
4. Produce
.
“They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,”
Psalm 92:14 (NIV)
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 (NIV)
Bottom Line: Continual spiritual growth
,
.
“proclaiming, ‘The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in
him.’”
Psalm 92:15 (NIV)
