Jesus is
Victory

He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

—John 1:10,11 (NLT)

For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

—Colossians 1:13,14 (NLT)

The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

—Matthew 21:9 (NIV)

I am a Jew, but I am enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene. —Albert Einstein

.

I know men and I tell you that Jesus Christ is no mere man. Between Him and every other person in the world there is no possible term of comparison. —Napoleon Bonaparte

.

I am a historian, I am not a believer, but I must confess as an historian that this penniless preacher Nazareth is irrevocably the very center of history. Jesus Christ is easily the most dominant figure in all history. —H.G. Wells

.

I believe there is no one deeper, lovelier, more sympathetic and more perfect than Jesus- not only is there no one else like Him, there never could be anyone like Him. —Fyodor Dostoevsky (Russian novelist)

.

No honey, I’m not the King. Christ is the King. I’m just a singer. —Elvis Presley

.

I am glad when I suffer for you in my body, for I am participating in the sufferings of Christ that continue for his body, the church. 25 God has given me the responsibility of serving his church by proclaiming his entire message to you. 26 This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God’s people. 27 For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. 28 So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. 29 That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me.

—Colossians 1:24-29 (NLT)

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

—1 John 4:4 (NIV)

And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God.The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

—Romans 8:10,11 (NLT)

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

—Galatians 2:20 (NIV)

You were not promised an easy life but a victorious life.

For I am participating in the sufferings of Christ that continue for his body, the church.

—Colossians 1:24 (NLT)

You will miss the victorious life if it is taught but not learned.

God has given me the responsibility of serving his church by proclaiming his entire message to you. This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God’s people.

—Colossians 1:25-26 (NLT)

You have the victorious life in your head before you have it in your hand.

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

—Colossians 1:27 (NLT)
