Have everyone spend time reading Acts 9:1-18 quietly to themselves. After a few minutes, either have one person read the passage for the group or have each person take turns reading a portion until the entire passage has been read.

Saul had a radical encounter with God that would completely change the trajectory of his life. How did God get your attention? Tell about your “coming to God” moment.
What do you believe was going through Ananias’ mind, when he was told to go find Saul, the Christian persecutor? How would you have reacted? Why can we have trouble at times embracing those new to the faith, when we know about their former life? What is our part to play in these situations?
When have you, like Ananias, obeyed the Lord even when you had doubts? What happened?
