Fellowship - Relationship with a Purpose
What Christian mission organization have you been called to serve at? What brought you to this organization and why do you feel called to serve?
If you had one opportunity to share with someone else why serving is so important, what would you tell them?
Growth - Thinking about Spiritual Matters
As Christians, we have all been called to serve others and give of our time, talents, and resources. Considering your time, talents, and resources - Are you using them wisely for the kingdom of God?
Sometimes, we can get easily distracted or misplace our priorities for a season of time. What is something you know is getting in the way of your God-given call to serve others?
Take a minute to be reminded of how the Holy Spirit has gifted you in the kingdom of God and the church. Read 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, and Ephesians 4 for a solid reminder of the spiritual gifts we could be given as followers of Christ.
Who is someone in your life that God is calling you to encourage to serve or step up in their Christian faith and service?
Matthew 9:37-38 says, “Then Jesus said to his discples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to sent out laborers into his harvest.’”
Prayer - Taking Your Thoughts to God
Ask God to send workers out to the harvest as there is so much work to be done in our world to help others come to saving faith in Christ.
If you are struggling to find where to serve, ask God to show you.
