HOW TO FACE THE FUTURE WITH CONFIDENCE
June 14, 2020 | Pastor Brian
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.” (Psalm 23:6, NKJV)
I CAN FACE THE FUTURE BECAUSE…
- GOD IS
“Surely goodness…shall follow me All the days of my life…”
“The LORD watches over all who love him…” (Psalm 145:20a, NIV84)
“For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go.” (Psalm 91:11, The Living Bible)
“And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.” (Romans 8:28, The Living Bible)
- GRACE IS
“Surely…mercy shall follow me All the days of my life”
“Let us, then, feel very sure that we can come before God’s throne where there is grace. There we can receive mercy and grace to help us when we need it.” (Hebrews 4:16, NCV)
“I will bless the Lord and not forget the glorious things he does for me. He forgives all my sins. He heals me. He ransoms me from hell. He surrounds me with loving-kindness and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things…He is merciful and tender toward those who don’t deserve it; he is slow to get angry and full of kindness and love…He has not punished us as we deserve for all our sins, for his mercy toward those who fear and honor him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west. He is like a father to us, tender and sympathetic to those who reverence him.” (Psalm 103:2–13 The Living Bible)
- HEAVEN IS
“And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.”
What Will Happen in Heaven?
- I will
- I will be
- I will be
- I will be
- I will be
- God will
- Heaven is
“And God has reserved for his children the priceless gift of eternal life; it is kept in heaven for you…And God, in his mighty power, will make sure that you get there safely to receive it because you are trusting him. It will be yours in that coming last day for all to see. So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though the going is rough for a while down here.” (1 Peter 1:4–6, The Living Bible)
