Comparison takes your eyes off the blessings you do have and focuses on the stuff you don’t have.
As long as you’re looking at what you don’t have, you’ll never notice what you do have.
If thankfulness and gratitude are the gateway to joy, then comparison and envy are the end of it.
Rejecting the gift is rejecting the giver.
(Matthew 7:11 NIV) If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
