Never Stop Growing

Never Stop Growing — God wants every follower of Jesus to continually grow in likeness to Him.

Big Question: What are some ways we can continue to grow?
Main Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-21

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17aThen Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. —Ephesians 3:14-17a

1.) Lean into the presence of God

Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. —Ephesians 3:17b-19

2.) Learn to know the power of God’s love

Wide – There is no person God’s love won’t receive.

Long – There is no place God’s love won’t go.

High – There is no problem God’s love can’t overcome.

Deep – There is no part of your soul or story God’s love won’t touch.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
—Ephesians 3:20-21

3.) Let your life proclaim the glory of God

“Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.”

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. —Ephesians 3:20
