1. Adds meaning to our everyday lives
“I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” —Revelation 22:12
2. Jesus will rule the earth as King.
“I, the Lord, will rule from Jerusalem as their King forever.” —Micah 4:7
3. Sin, suffering and death will end.
“There will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” —Revelation 21:4
4. Work will be joyful.

5. God the Father will live with us.
“God’s home is now among His people! He will live with them…” —Revelation 21:3
6. Earth will be restored to perfection.

1. “Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Do you love what you do? What would it take to make your new job in eternity delightful to you?
2. One man is a state governor; another is a janitor cleaning his office. If this life is training for eternal roles, can we assume that the governor will be a leader and the janitor will be cleaning offices? Why or why not? What will Jesus base assignments on?
