Make it Matter! Life Lived on Mission

Isaiah 66:2 “My hands have made both heaven and earth; they and everything in them are mine. I the Lord have spoken! I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, and who tremble at my word.” - NLT

Theology - The study of scripture: What have I come to believe about the Bible? The human effort to understand the God of the scriptures.

Christology - The understanding and belief of who Jesus is, what he did and why. These are essential to knowing him, to confessing him. To receive forgiveness of sin, and to live a life that reflects this.

Ecclesiology - The study of the church: What have I come to believe about the body and bride of Christ and her/our relationship to Jesus? What our role is in this world, how we relate to one another and those who don’t yet know God.

Missiology - The study of the mission of God: What I believe about the mission of the church, and my particular role in God’s mission. What is my part? What will God bless as I engage?

Aegis - Protection, Sponsorship, Direction
- The armor plate that protects the chest.
- Sphere of Divine Influence.

Working Definition
The protection, sponsorship and direction we experience under the aegis of our individual calling.
