Quick Review
Looking back on your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything that caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?
My Story
1. What is the most memorable celebration you have ever been a part of?
2. What is the most meaningful gift you have ever given someone else? Explain.
Digging Deeper
1. How was the birth of Jesus celebrated in the verses below:
* Luke 2:13-14
* Luke 2:17 & 20
2. Some followers of Jesus choose not to celebrate His birth, while others do. What do you think about that? What insight does Romans 14:5-8 provide?
3. How does heaven respond when a person repents and turns to Christ? See Luke 15:3-7. What motivation does this give you to share your faith this Christmas?
4. We sing the well-known Christmas Carol, “O Come Let Us Adore Him.” What does it mean for you to “adore” Jesus at Christmas time?
5. How did Mary express her adoration to the Lord in Luke 1:46-55?
6. Describe a close relationship you had with someone that became broken. What did it take for the two of you to be reconciled to each other once again?
7. From a biblical perspective, the term, “Reconciliation” means to be restored to a right relationship with God. How do the verses below describe this process?
* Luke 2:11
* 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
8. John 3:16 tells us the reason God sent His son to earth in the first place. Who is someone you are praying for this Christmas to receive Jesus as their Savior? Invite them to one of our Christmas Eve services!
What Is God Saying To Me?
Take some time for prayer and reflection. What is the Lord saying to you about the way you share His gift of salvation with others?
Taking It Home
1. Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas this year by being intentional to include Christ in all your gatherings and traditions.
2. Pray about being reconciled to someone you have had a broken relationship with. If God gives you the courage, take the initiative to make peace.

Get Connected — Calvary Life Groups
Life Groups are where we experience Authentic Community together! Groups meet in-person or online through apps like “Zoom.” Spiritual growth happens through building meaningful Christian relationships, discussion, prayer and the study of God’s Word.
· SHARE: We share what is happening in our lives.
· STUDY: Sermon-based groups study/discuss the questions on the sermon note sheet provided each Sunday. Other groups study a variety of books of the Bible or Christian life topics. Our goal is to apply what we learn.
· SUPPORT: We do this by praying for one another, encouragement, listening, challenging one another and meeting needs.
· SERVE: We serve & minister to the needs of those in our group, church family, and community.
