Use the following questions based on today’s sermon as a starting point for spiritual discussions with your family or a small group of Christian friends this week.

Fellowship—Relationship with a Purpose

· Who are some people you have shared the gospel with? How have you been a link in someone else’s chain to Jesus?
· How do you think you can help others in our church community to grow in this area of evangelism?

Growth—Thinking About Spiritual Matters

· Do you feel like you are ready and capable to share the gospel with others? If so, what is your strategy? If not, what is holding you back from being able to be on mission for Christ?
· How would you describe your attitude toward people of different religious backgrounds or secular lifestyles? Do you lean more toward judgment or compassion?
· Where would you say God has opened the most opportunities to share the gospel with others?
· What brings you the most hope when it comes to our faith in Jesus Christ? Just like Paul’s main hope in Acts 23:6, be specific about your hope.
· If you could tell anyone three things about the gospel, what would they be?
· Jesus was right alongside Paul encouraging him to, “Take courage,” because there is more testimony for Paul to bring about Jesus in Rome. What is Jesus saying to you to encourage you and to direct you to the next point in your ministry?

Prayer – Taking Your Thoughts to God

· Who is God laying on your heart to share the gospel with? Pray for that person, pray for opportunity, and pray for boldness. It’s time to get off the bench and into the game!
