Means: To miss the mark, to fall short.
Conflict relationally is always tied to Sin.
Two Kinds of Sin
Big S Sin: Macro Level // Born into it // Condition
Little s sin: Micro Level // Your specific sin // Behaviors
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death to all people… —Romans 5:12

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. —Romans 5:1
-You did not behave your way into the kingdom of sin, you were born into it, you do not behave your way into the kingdom of God, you are born into it.

-Sin always leads to death. Avoiding sin always leads to life and peace and therefore happiness.

-It is possible that God can have peace with you, but you, not have peace with God?
-God’s Peace with us begins with faith in Christ, however Our Peace with God is sustained by submission to God
-Good works aren’t necessary for Salvation (God’s peace with you), but rather good works are a by-product of it and are necessary for (Your peace with God, others and yourself)
Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession. Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. —James 1:14-22
But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. —James 1:25
