1. Why does God use the stars as an illustration of His promise to Abraham? (Hint: they are innumerable & constant). What do the stars teach you about God’s promise to you?

2. What does it mean to believe? Why was this counted to Abraham as righteousness? How does this apply to people who believe in Jesus today, especially Gentile Christians?

3. Why did Jesus confront the Jewish Pharisees and say they are not true children of Abraham? (See: John 8:37-44) Why are we now considered Abraham’s true children? (See: Romans 4:11-12)

4. What impact does it make in your heart to know you are now part of God’s BLESSING to Abraham? Remember that the word “blessed” means to bestow divine favor and provide with benefits. (See: Ephesians 2:12-13 & 2:18-22)
