What does it mean to be pure in heart? (Matthew 23:25-28)

The reward for being pure in heart is seeing God (Exodus 33:20, 1 Timothy 6:16, Exodus 24:9-11)

How do we gain a pure heart?

1. Recognize that you need a new heart (Ezekiel 36:25-26, James 4:8)
   

2. Long for the presence of God (Job 19:25-27, 1 John 3:2-3)
   

3. Pursue God’s purity (John 15:3)
   

4. Delight in what pleases God
