Living It Out This Week
Jesus is calling you and me to be His disciples. As we come to Easter we must take the time needed to hear the call of Jesus. Spend time each day praying and listening for the voice of the Master.
Sunday-John 1.35-42: What do you notice about Jesus calling these two disciples? How has Jesus invited you to “come and see”? Pray you will be like an Andrew in the coming weeks.
Monday-Isaiah 53.1-12: Possibly behind the saying “Lamb of God” in our passage from Sunday. The Messiah would do these things. Pray for forgiveness from your sins!
Tuesday-Genesis 22.1-19: Another time God provided a lamb to help His people. Jesus would become the willing sacrifice when it is our sins which cause us trouble. How will you trust Jesus today to provide? This week?
Wednesday-Revelation 5.1-14: What moves you in these verses about what is to come? How does this help you understand Jesus as Messiah? Jesus is more than just a human being, He is God! Pray for the salvation of many for the kingdom of God!
Thursday-John 6.1-9: Andrew is doing it again, bringing someone to Jesus. Notice though even Andrew is not convinced about what will happen but trusts the Lord. Pray for greater trust in Jesus!
Friday-John 1.43-51: Jesus does not stop with the first 3 but continues to call others. How are these verses similar to the preceding call? How is it different? Pray for our time on Sunday that we would hear Jesus.
Saturday-John 1.14: Join us in worship tomorrow! Pray for our worship tomorrow. Pray that our eyes would see the Lord! Invite someone to church
