Psalm 119:66 / CSB, “Teach me good judgment and discernment, for I rely on your commands.”

1 God for discernment to know the difference between truth and lies.
Matthew 7:15 / ESV, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”

Hosea 4:14b / CSB, “People without discernment are doomed.”

Psalm 119:169 / NLT, “O Lord, listen to my cry; give me the discerning mind you promised.”

Proverbs 12:19 / TLB, “Truth stands the test of time; lies are soon exposed.”

Proverbs 23:23 / CJB, “Buy the truth, don’t sell it, also wisdom, discipline and discernment.”

2 the discernment test of character, creed, and
consistency.

Matthew 7:16-18 / ESV, “You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.”

Philippians 1:9-10 / ESV, “And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.”

3 for the agenda of heaven
Matthew 7:19-20 / ESV, “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”

James 3:17 / ESV, “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.”
