We don’t want to merely take people to the Bible;
we want to take people to the God of our Bible.

Foundation

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void and darkness was over the surface of the deep and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. —Genesis 1:1-2 (NASB)

Foundation to Forms

The earth was formless (no sphere) and void (no life) and darkness (no light) was over the surface of the deep and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. —Genesis 1:2

Forms to Fullness

Fullness to Foreman

God’s Nature

In the beginning, God… —Genesis 1:1
“Let Us make man in Our image.” —Genesis 1:26

God’s Power

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. —Genesis 1:1

God’s Benevolence

The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. —Genesis 1:2
Everything created by God is good and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving. —1 Timothy 4:4

God’s intentional design

Within creation, there is a mechanism of perpetuation.

Let the earth sprout vegetation: plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them. —Genesis 1:11

There is a mechanism of perpetuation, but there is not a migration.

God is Personal

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. —Genesis 1:27

Take home truth

The creation speaks to the greatness and goodness of God
