11 Don’t criticize one another, brothers and sisters. Anyone who defames or judges a fellow believer[a] defames and judges the law. If you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver and judge[b] who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? —James 4:11-12

What is Slander?
1. Slander comes from a heart that hopes to hurt.
2. Slander is a coward’s weapon.
3. Slander has a boomerang effect.

How do we Slander?
1. We can slander by spreading misinformation we didn’t verify.
2. We can slander by using truth to lead someone to a false conclusion.
3. Our refusal to practice slander invites the presence of God.
