Acts chapter 5 underscores the importance of integrity, perseverance, and bold proclamation in the growth of the early Christian church. Like the apostles, we can persevere through opposition by relying on the strength of our faith, maintaining our commitment to the Word of God, and trusting in God’s faithfulness through all circumstances!

The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus. And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, they continued (Ceased not) to teach and preach this message: “Jesus is the Messiah.” Acts 5:41-42 (NLT)

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose]. 1 Corinthians 15:58 (AMP)
