Ephesians 6:10-14
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

  • There is a warfare that takes place that we can’t see.

  • When it comes to spiritual warfare in your life, its not coincidental, its coordinated.

Ephesians 6:13 put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand and having done all, stand firm.

  • Shoes and Shield

  • Stand Firm

Ephesians 6:14-15
14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

  • You engage the enemy by moving forward with the gospel.

  • When you stop engaging, stop moving forward with and in the gospel, you open yourself up to the attack of the enemy.

  • Don’t ever retire from battle.

  • We never stop advancing the gospel

Ephesians 6:16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

  • A fiery dart is a lie with a purpose behind it

  • Satan wants to bring despair and condemnation and confusion in your life.

  • This is the armor you put on when you are filled with the Spirit

  • You can’t fight Satan’s lies with logic. You have to shield yourself from them with faith.

  • No one will ever love you because you’re unlovable

Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”

Isaiah 49:15-16
15“As a new mother could never forget her baby, I could never forget you.
16I have engraved you on the palm of my hands;…

  • The situation will never change.

Jeremiah 32:40 I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them…

  • You’ve sinned too many times for God to forgive you.

Lamentations 3:23 …his mercies are new every morning;

Psalms 103:12 He has separated me from my iniquities as far as the east is from the west.

  • Get behind the shield of faith and let the truth of the gospel extinguish the lies of the enemy.
