He Knows Your Name: A Woman Suffers
One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, he saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!” Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God! —Luke 13:10-13
There was a woman present, so twisted and bent over with arthritis that she couldn’t even look up. She had been afflicted with this for eighteen years. —Luke 13:10-13 (The Message)
If Satan can’t fill your heart with unbelief, he will spend his time getting you bent over so all you can see is your issue. —Paige Allen, He Knows Your Name
In the Kingdom of God,
When she had every right to stay home and weep, she chose instead to show up and worship. —Paige Allen, He Knows Your Name

Showing up is making the difficult decision to do the “ordinary” Kingdom action when your flesh wants to lick it’s wounds and focus on the current issue.
In the Kingdom of God,
Then Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like? How can I illustrate it? It is like a tiny mustard seed that a man planted in a garden; it grows and becomes a tree, and the birds make nests in its branches.”
He also asked, “What else is the Kingdom of God like? It is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.” —Luke 13:18-21 (NLT)
Jesus is making a point: This woman, the mustard seed, and the yeast are all seen as small in the eyes of the world. But in the Kingdom, Jesus blesses our small and creates impact.
The question is - can we embrace the truth that the smallness of our lives is powerful?
What if the focus of our lives was less on getting near what the world deems great and more on simply getting into His presence? —Paige Allen, He Knows Your Name
