Scripture: John 18:28-38
Summary: Jesus is brought to Pilate, the most powerful Roman in the province. Pilate’s investigation finds Jesus not be harmless to the Roman empire but what’s he going to do with Jesus?. John asks the reader the same question – what are you going to do with Jesus?

Read Scripture: John 18:28-38
- What’s one thing you learned from the sermon? What stood out?
- Pilate felt the pressure of doing what others wanted or risk losing his job. What’s a time that you’ve felt pressured into do something you didn’t want to?
- There were three ironies that Peter talked about – power, truth and purity. Go through the passage and circle each time you see power, truth or purity in any capacity.
- Share about how you came to make a decision about what to do with Jesus.
- Even after we come to faith we can still treat Jesus as a liar or a lunatic. Where does this show up in your life?
- Spend some time praying for one another as we head toward Easter. Pray that you will be moved by the Love of God on display in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
