Taking it Further to Help You THRIVE…

  1. Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?

2. What are some ways we can integrate God’s Word into our lives aside from listening to sermons on Sunday mornings? Share a way that has worked well for you.

3. Remember, the 6 values we reviewed are not just ‘corporate values’ of a church, but values we can embrace in our individual lives too! Which of the 6 THRIVE values resonates the most in your heart? Which is the hardest / most difficult for you? Why?

4. What does it ‘look like’ to be an active part of a local church? What ways do you see yourself connecting at THRIVE? Helping others at THRIVE get connected?

5. When it comes to reproducing servants (growing believers), many reply, “That is the job of the Church.” This is true, but not always the way people think. How can you personally reproduce servants of Christ? Help a believer grow? Help a believer use his/her gifts?

6. What are some practical ways we as individuals can build bridges with people in our community without it being or becoming a ‘church event’? (Share some examples of how you might have done this recently.)

7. What is something you believe you are missing in your life (spiritual or otherwise) regarding church family life? How could we come alongside you to help?
