Living It Out This Week
It is Easter Resurrection Sunday and we need now more than ever. The truth of Easter is there is now a living hope that will never disappoint. May these verses help you lean into and live out the hope we have because Jesus is not in a tomb but alive and well before the throne of God.
Sunday-1 Corinthians 15.12-34: Paul reminds us of the hope we have because of Christ’s resurrection. The truth of it is central to our Christian faith and walk in this world. Spend some time marveling about the events of the Resurrection.
Monday-Matthew 28.1-20: What strikes you in these verses about the Lord’s resurrection? Who would you be most like in this passage? Pray for courage to live out the commission of Jesus.
Tuesday-Mark 16.1-8: A brief account but sometimes short is powerful. How will you live in courage and fear as we walk with Jesus? Pray for courage!
Wednesday-Luke 24.1-12: Seeing is believing, sometimes. Sometimes what we are told seems unrealistic and impossible. But, God deals with the impossible. Spend time praying for your “impossible” situation.
Thursday-Luke 24.23-49: Jesus made himself known to others by opening up Scripture and our eyes. What role will Scripture play in your week? Pray for time to spend time in the Word!
Friday-John 20.1-29: Resurrection and doubt can exist together. Notice the confession of Thomas and Jesus’ grace. May you rest in the grace of Jesus today!
Saturday-John 1.14: Join us in worship tomorrow! Pray for our worship tomorrow. Pray that our eyes would see the Lord! Invite someone to church.
