Since 1994 the Durenes served as church planters in Northern Thailand, then Area Directors for the five most Buddhist countries in the world, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Meanwhile, they pioneered a prayer initiative on behalf of the Buddhist world called, Change The Map (CTM), which led to their current role as full-time CTM directors.
