Psalm 78:1-6

Psalm 78:2b-3 (NLT) –
I will teach you hidden lessons from our past—
3      stories we have heard and known,
     stories our ancestors handed down to us.
Why Moms Tell Stories:
1. Stories build a family history. Family history builds self-identity and grit.
2. The Bible is the most important record of your family history. Ex. 13:8
3. The best way to teach “hidden lessons” is through stories. Ps. 78:1-3
4. Our children’s faith and character are shaped by the stories we tell. Ps. 78:6
