
If Jesus Played Football
1 Corinthians 15:57
Our victory is through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul said, (1 Corinthians 15:57)- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
If Jesus walked the earth today, would He have played football?
What position would Jesus have played?
There are actually some amazing similarities between football and what happened in the life of Jesus.
1- Jesus had a great

(John 17:5)- And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

4- He had a long tough
(John 21:25)- And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.
5- He had a great
12 guys He called Disciples…
They eventually were so sold out to Him that they all DIED for Him…
6- Jesus faced a tough
His opponent was relentless.
(1 Peter 5:8) - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith…

It was a game for the ages…
It was the toughest battle ever fought!
The stakes were high because we were out of time and out of hope.
He came to “seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10)
Why?
Because we were “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1)
(Romans 5:8)- But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
More than anything else, HE WANTS
