1. Why do I feel empty inside?
Romans 3:23 (NLT) For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
Romans 3:10 (NLT) As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one.”
We are all in need of salvation!
Luke 19:10 (NLT) For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”
2. What do I have to do to make God love me?
Romans 5:8 (NLT) But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
Romans 5:6-9 (NLT) When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9 And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.
God loved us and Jesus died for us while we were still sinners.
John 3:16 (NLT) For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
1 John 4:10 (NLT) This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
Salvation is by grace and through faith.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLT) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
3. What happens when I die?
Romans 6:23 (NLT) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Hebrews 9:27-28 (NLT) And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, 28 so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.
Because of Jesus, we have the hope of eternal life.
Jesus is coming again.
4. Can I be forgiven for what I’ve done?
Romans 8:1 (NLT) So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (NLT) So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” 21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
Jesus died so our sins could be forgiven. That is why we call Him Savior.
5. What do I have to do to be saved?
Romans 10:9-10 (NLT) If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
Jesus gives our lives purpose and meaning. That is why we call Him Lord.
John 14:1-4 (NLT) “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.”
John 14:5 (NLT) “No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
John 14:6 (NLT) Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
