It’s Not The End Of The World

Matthew 24:1-14
What would Jesus’ disciples have thought of the Jerusalem Temple?

See Mark 13:1 and John 2:20

“Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” —Matthew 24:2

What three things are the disciples asking Jesus about?
1. The destruction of the

3. The of the age

What do you think the disciples meant by these last two?
See Matthew 16:27 and Matthew 13:36-43

What are the disciples’ two questions?
1.

Why doesn’t Jesus answer their first question? Matthew 24:36

Can you describe a time someone encouraged you at church or when you met up?

Can you remember a time you did this for someone else?

Who could you encourage this week, and how?

3. Be

What’s the encouragement from Jesus?

How much of this has happened? Does that encouraged you? Should it?

These birth pains stop the advance of Jesus’ Kingdom

4. The end will

Do you believe the end will come? why or why not?

Do you know will be safe in Jesus on that day? why or why not?

What should a healthy confidence in your own salvation at the end of all things mean for how you live each day?

Don’t be alarmed; stand firm
