Bible Story: (look up and read it together) The Boy Jesus in the Temple - Luke 2:41-52
What We Learned: No more stinking sin. It’s time to grow up!
Bible Verse: “Jesus became wiser and stronger. He also became more and more pleasing to God and to people.” Luke 2:52
Talk About It: Discuss with your kids one thing they can do that will help them grow in their faith.

Bible Story: Rehoboam Chooses Poorly – 1 Kings 12:6-11
What We Learned: Seek out wise advice and use it.
Bible Verse: “So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom.” Ecclesiastes 7:25a NIV
Talk About It: Read the Bible story together. Whose advice did Rehoboam follow? Did he make a wise choice in following their advice? Why or why not? Parents, share a time you followed bad advice and a time you followed good advice. What was the advice? What happened? What was the outcome?
