KINGDOM DOMINATION PART 3

(FIRST WEDNESDAY)

IF WE ARE ISOLATED ~ WE WILL NOT GET TO BE DEMONSTRATED.

Matthew 4:23
23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

KINGDOM DOMINANCE…

  • NOT to dominate people… but to DOMINATE situations with KINGDOM Influence.

DOMINANCE = power and influence over other things.

WE ARE A PART OF THE KINGDOM because TOGETHER….

Hebrews 10:17 - 22a
17
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22a Let us

“LET US” = NOT YOU… NOT ME… LET US!!!!

1. WE BUILD THE KINGDOM … NOT ALONE.

Just because people love Jesus and just because people love the Bible or church does not mean that it is growing the Kingdom.

  • THAT IS THE OLD SYSTEM… JESUS SAYS THIS IS A NEW AND LIVING WAY.

IF OUR CHURCH HAS BECOME TOXIC
or
IF OUR CHURCH HAS A POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING TOXIC,
LEADERS NEED TO IDENTIFY IT AND DO OUR PART TO CHANGE IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

WHEN people:

  • do not want anyone on their team…
  • do not work well with others…

They have stopped building a KINGDOM and are building a SANDCASTLE.
A SANDCASTLE WILL LAST… for a short time…

WHEN people

more on what is convenient to them:

  • more than on GROWING
  • CHECKING ON OTHERS
  • BUILDING OTHERS UP…

They have stopped building a KINGDOM and are building a

.

2. WE FORGIVE QUICKLY, LOVINGLY AND GRACEFULLY.

Hebrews 10:17
17
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

UNDERSTANDING GOD’S LOVE FOR US SHOULD

US TO LOVE OTHERS THE SAME.

Quickly = I choose to give forgiveness, they don’t deserve it.

Ephesians 4:32
32
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God has forgiven you

Lovingly = kind & compassionate.

KIND = useful. How can I help you do the task that is at hand.

COMPASSIONATE = living with guts.
Talking about what needs to be talked about takes GUTS… sympathetic guts…

THE TALK:
1 - What are you concerned about?
2 - What do you want to happen?
3 - What are you willing to do?

Matthew 6:14 - 15
14
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

FORGIVENESS IS GIVING PEOPLE WHAT GOD GAVE YOU.
THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM IS ABOUT

WHAT HE !

Gracefully = giving what you already received.

  • Forgiveness does not flow to us.
  • It is called to flow through us.

THIS IS SUPERNATRUAL!
THIS IS POWERFUL!
THIS IS KINGDOM BUILDING!

IT DOES NOT MEAN THIS IS EASY::

FAITH ENABLES US TO SEE AN

FOR FREEDOM WHERE EVERYONE ELSE ONLY SEES OFFENSE.

Proverbs 19:11
11
The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

THERE IS A GAP IN EVERY ACTION AND THE CORRESPONDING REACTION.
YOU CHOOSE WHAT YOU PUT IN THE GAP!

THE DEVIL WANTS YOU TO TREAT OTHERS like he does - WITH ACCUSATION.
(This is how he stops kingdom from growing…)

Revelations 12:10
10
And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, “NOW have come salvation and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ; for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night.

He WANTS TO INFLUENCE US TO ACCUSE EACH OTHER.

GOD WANTS YOU TO TREAT OTHERS like he does - WITH LOVE.

Proverbs 17:9
9
He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; But he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.

  • LoveGIVES the benefit of the doubt.
  • LoveASSUMES the best.

Ephesians 4:2 NLT
2
Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.

  • Love… BELIEVES the other person.

Proverbs 19:11
11
The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

Overlook - AVOR (Hebrew word) = means to “pass over”
Instead of focusing on, dwelling on, holding on, replaying, or magnifying.

GROWING HIS KINGDOM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HOLDING OUR OFFENSES.
