INTRODUCTION
Being On Mission is being empowered by Jesus to share the Gospel with the people around us and all over the world. To do this we must tap into Jesus’ limitless strength and wisdom, surrendering our will and allowing His power to work through us. When we are empowered by Jesus for the Gospel, we can face any challenge with confidence, knowing that His purpose for our life is greater than we can imagine.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” —Matthew 24:14 (NKJV)

“Brothers and sisters, pray for us also.” —I Thessalonians 5:25
“When he saw the crowds, he felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd. 37Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest truly is abundant, but the workers are few. 38Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.” —Matthew 9:36-38
“Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and willing to share,” —I Timothy 6:18
The Plan: Faith Promise Missions Offering
A Faith Promise Missions Offering is a promise between us and Jesus to give regularly to missions through City United Church a specific amount that the Lord leads us to give by faith over and above our tithes which supports local and global missions.
A Faith Promise Missions Offering can be defined as:
Faith: This means we are trusting for something we
Promise: This means that if God will do His part in
Missions: This means that our gift will be used to support the missional
Offering: This means we are giving this amount to
“Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the profit that is increasing to your account.” —Philippians 4:17

IV. OUR
IN GOD’S PLAN

LINE
“After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” —Revelation 7:9
