and you are
in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he
that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “, have mercy on me!”
So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.
Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”
And, he rose and came to Jesus.
So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
VICTIM -
allowing people or circumstances to control my thoughts, attitude & life.
ACCOUNTABILITY -
A personal choice to rise above one’s circumstances and demonstrate the ownership necessary for achieving desired results.
1. COURAGE TO SEE IT!
Wait on the LORD;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Then their eyes were opened, and they could see! Jesus sternly warned them, “Don’t tell anyone about this.”
But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for Christians, followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!
2. HEART TO OWN IT!
He who has a deceitful heart finds no good,
And he who has a perverse tongue falls into evil.
“The human heart is the most
of all things,
and desperately wicked.
Who really knows how bad it is?
All the days of the
are wretched,
but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.
Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
3. WISDOM TO SOLVE IT!
my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge…
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
4. FAITH TO DO IT!
Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.
In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
