Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
We are empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:8 (NIV)
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and
you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the Earth.”
We are Anointed Disciples, Natural Evangelists, & Earnest Apologist
Anointed:
1. Consecrated or made sacred; dedicated to God, often in a ceremony that includes dabbing or sprinkling with holy oil.
2. Chosen by or as if by divine authority; chosen for a sacred, high, or special vocation or purpose.
Luke 4:18-19 (NIV)
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to
proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Matthew 4:19 (NIV)
“‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for
people.’”
The authentication of discipleship:
John 8:31 (NIV): “To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.’”
2 Timothy 2
2 You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
Natural Evangelists
Evangelism : Communicating the Gospel to others through scripture, our personal experiences, testimonies and conversation.
Mark 16:15 (NIV): “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and
preach the gospel to all creation.’”

Matthew 12:34 - ….“out of the abundance of the heart the mouth
speaks”
Earnest Apologist:
1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
2 Timothy 4:2 (NIV): “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV): “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
