Praying and Inviting your one to Jesus

INTRODUCTION
A. People are looking for a place to belong and to connect. They are trying to fill a hole, an emptiness that only a relationship with Jesus can fill. Are you sensitive to this need in the people around you? At work? At school? In your neighborhood? In your family? Did you know that 80% of people would come to church if they were just invited?
“Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” —Luke 14:23
B. Invite Your One is the call to a greater passion to invite people to Jesus. It was and still is the heart of Jesus’ ministry for people to come and experience the power of Christ and the life change He brings. The objective is for you to commit to invite your one and watch God work. It is going to take commitment to pray for your guest, to pray for the guests of others, and to pray for our church as we go and each invite our one.
This series of talks will include:

C. TEXT: John 14:12-14 (New Testament)
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. —John 14:12-14
Today’s Takeaway: A GREATER WORK ALWAYS BEGINS WITH ONE.

Visit cityunited.church/invite for resources and instructions on how to share your progress.
Each week we will have a large glass tank available for you to place a ball in for each person that you invite. This will visually reinforce just how great of an impact we are having in the community.
CONCLUSION:
Who is your one? A “greater work” begins with just one. If each of us reached one, then a great work would multiply rapidly.
