I. Bondage is—-
a. We were born in sin
b. You can become free from the bondage of sin through the blood of Jesus and the cross.
c. The church are the ones “called out”
II Captivity is—
a. We can be ensnared by things that dominated us in the past
b. This ensnarement can be released through the word of God
c. 2 Tim. 2:25-26
III. Nehemiah pictures God’s commitment to free us from both bondage and captivity!
1. God has the authority and ability to work in our lives
2. Nothing can obstruct God’s purpose to bring us to wholeness.
1. Jesus will supply all our needs.
2. God has all the resources to put things back together in our lives.
