Introduction:

“And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain… And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.” —1 Cor. 15:14, 17


I. Jesus’ resurrection ensures His (Luke 9:22)


“The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.” —Luke 9:22


II. Jesus’ resurrection ensures our (Rom. 4:25)


“[Jesus] was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” —Rom. 4:25


“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not of you own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” —Eph. 2:8-9


“If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” —Rom. 10:9
