Tempt is the Hebrew word nacah

Genesis 22:2 TPT

God said, “Please take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom I know you dearly love, and go to the land of Moriah. Offer him up to me as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will show you.”

Galatians 3:8 AMPC

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify (declare righteous, put in right standing with Himself) the Gentiles in consequence of faith, proclaimed the Gospel [foretelling the glad tidings of a Savior long beforehand] to Abraham in the promise, saying, In you shall all the nations [of the earth] be blessed.

Genesis 22:3 TPT

Early the next morning, Abraham cut the wood for the burnt offering, loaded it on his donkey, and set out for the distant place God had shown him. He took with him two of his servants, and his son Isaac.

Genesis 22:9 AMPC

When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built an altar there; then he laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar on the wood.

Prophetic parallel God established with Abraham

Go to the Land of Moriah: Moriah means chosen by Yahweh and root word is sight/vision; Abraham was told to meet HIM at the Mt of Clear Vision (Region of Mountains)

Go to “the Place” (HaMakom/ hammāqôm): A specific point in the region aka The Standing Place

The Standing Place: A place where someone belongs or has established right of residence

Prophetic parallel God established with You and I

Go to the Land of Moriah: 121st and Memorial

Go to “the Place”: the specific point of 121st and Memorial at The Bridge

At the Standing Place: Is “The place” where you and I belong to establish our residency at the Mt of Clear Vision where you will receive MY PLAN for you and through you

The pattern by which he is Raising HIS FAMILY

nacah

test – will you trust me and not yourself;
attempt/try – allow ME to establish MY covenant with you Abraham;
adventure – will you take an adventure with me?

1. Abraham is tested on this fact – will you trust and depend on ME

2. God attempts a covenant with Abraham

3. Abraham takes an adventure with HIM

The Lord God is asking you today (nacah) will you depend on ME, agree with me (in covenant), and take an adventure with me?

He is looking to raise a FAMILY OF SONS that have Identified with HIM at every level of HIS SUBMISSION

John 1:12 AMPC

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name–

Romans 8:14 TPT

The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.

Will you identify with HIM and take Your Position at the table?

Matthew 22:14 AMPC

For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen.

Luke 13:34 AMPC

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who continue to kill the prophets and to stone those who are sent to you! How often I have desired and yearned to gather your children together [around Me], as a hen [gathers] her young under her wings, but you would not!

Will you discern HIS invitation, HIS day of visitation: Lay Down Your Crowns at the Feet of JESUS

  • He is drawing you in
  • Inviting you to enter for yourself out of your own free will
  • To say Yes, I will take an adventure with you
  • Raise me (Disciple) to be a SON
  • Let YOUR LIFE flourish through me in this adventure of becoming a SON from the standing place where you have established my residency

TIFAW

Father, I choose to Identify with your life and your way.

Help me discern by revelation your work in me, by visitation I choose to identify and experience your death, burial, resurrection, and position in YOU as if it were my own.

By habitation in habitual oneness with you, express your life through me.

I want to take this adventure with you, be my teacher, raise me to be your Son, and allow your life, to be expressed through me daily.
