Growing in your daily relationship with God

KEY TRUTH: God has saved us for the purpose of bringing us into a personal relationship with Him. He wants to speak to us through His word, and through prayer.


I. Life in the Word of God

There are a number of ways that we can grow in relationship with God through His word!

1. Reading

5. Meditation

Meditation is very similar to the digestive process of a cow. The cow initially takes in and swallows her food, but then repeats the process numerous times through a system of regurditation, chewing her cud and swallowing again. In this manner, the cow gains the full nourishing value of the food. In mediation we do the same thing with Gods word, thereby gaining treater insight and spiritual nourishment from the word of God.
