We are all called by Jesus to Go:
Where are we called to go? Who are called to go to? How are we called to go?
How was Jesus’ command in 1:8 obeyed by the first disciples in Acts?
Jerusalem: Acts 2-7
Judea: Acts 8
Sameria: Acts 8
Ends of the earth: Acts 10-28
Where: Going may not involve crossing oceans but will involve crossing cultural/relational barriers.

The nations are within 1 hour commute of us (depending on traffic conditions):
Who: Going means going to our people as well as the “other” among us.
Traditional Model: Geographic
Jerusalem: East Brunswick
Judea: New Jersey/New York
Samaria: Canada
Ends of the earth: Overseas
Relevant model: Context/culture
Jerusalem: Our people
Judea: Our neighbors
Samaria: The other/enemies
Ends of the earth: Aliens
How: Going will require allowing the Holy Spirit to reshape our minds and hearts.
Going requires the power of the Holy Spirit
Going requires obedience to the Spirit
Going requires sacrifice
Going requires prayer
Going should be done in community
