Resolution Part 5
Luke 19, Revelation 4

I WILL (

) those who have wronged me and ( ) with those I have wronged.

When we’ve been wounded in these ways, we often try to deal with the situation in one of three ways:

( )

( )

( ).

The biblical solution is (

) forgiveness of the one who hurt you.

We can at least recognize that the Bible (

) Christians to forgive. (Matthew 6:15, 18:21-22, 34-35, Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13, Romans 12:19-21 Matthew 18:23-33)

We don’t forgive by just trying to forgive; we forgive by (

) on how much we have been forgiven.

Here are some things to keep in mind as you work toward forgiving those who have hurt you.

  1. It is often harder to forgive those who are (

) to you than a total stranger.

  2. It is often (

) to forgive those who don’t think they did anything wrong than to forgive someone who admits their fault.

  3. Forgiving someone doesn’t really “let them (

) the hook” in God’s mind.

  4. Forgiveness is both a one-time act and also (

    ).

  5. Sometimes forgiveness includes getting (

) involved for the sake of arbitration or counselind.

  6. Forgiveness, especially in the case of an actual abuse situation, doesn’t mean you have to physically be (

    ) a dangerous person.

  7. Forgiveness does not mean that you do not report (

    ) activity.

  8. Jesus did not just come to die for your sins; he died to (

) you from sins that have been done to you.

  9. Unforgiveness is not rooted in hurt; it is rooted in (

    ).

  10. Jesus knows what it is like to be hurt, so you can (

) him for help in your time of need.

We have sinned against Christ and have been forgiven, so we are (

) to forgive others.

I WILL (

) from my mistakes, ( ) of my sins, and (walk) with integrity as a man answerable to God.

How do you stop repeating mistakes?

(1) ( ) your mistakes.

(2) ( ) the error.

(3) ( ) your mistake.

(4) Put lessons ( ) into practice.

(5) ( ) your progress.

The short biblical definition of repentance is “a change of (

) that results in a change of ( ).” (Romans 6:23, Col. 1:21-22, Pro. 10:19-20, 5:8-14, John 8:34, 1 Cor. 9:27, 2 Tim. 3:2-4, Proverbs 14:34, Romans 5:8, Matthew 13:40-43, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Luke 19:8-9, Ephesians 5:15-16).
