Transforming How You See & Use Money
“1พระองค์ตรัสกับเหล่าสาวกของพระองค์ว่า “ยังมีเศรษฐีที่มีคนต้นเรือนคนหนึ่ง และมีคนมาฟ้องเศรษฐีว่า คนต้นเรือนนั้นผลาญสมบัติของท่านเสีย
2เศรษฐีจึงเรียกคนต้นเรือนนั้นมา ว่าแก่เขาว่า ‘เรื่องราวที่เราได้ยินเกี่ยวกับเจ้านั้นเป็นอย่างไร จงส่งบัญชีหน้าที่ต้นเรือนของเจ้า เพราะว่าเจ้าจะเป็นคนต้นเรือนต่อไปไม่ได้
3คนต้นเรือนนั้นคิดในใจว่า ‘เราจะทำอะไรดี เพราะนายจะถอดเราเสียจากหน้าที่ต้นเรือน จะขุดดินก็ไม่มีกำลัง จะขอทานก็อายเขา 4เรารู้แล้วว่าจะทำอะไรดี เพื่อเมื่อเราถูกถอดจากหน้าที่ต้นเรือนแล้วเขาจะรับเราไว้ในเรือนของเขาได้’
5คนนั้นจึงเรียกลูกหนี้ของนายมาทีละคน แล้วถามคนแรกว่า ‘ท่านเป็นหนี้นายข้าพเจ้ากี่มากน้อย’ 6เขาตอบว่า ‘เป็นหนี้น้ำมันร้อยถัง’ คนต้นเรือนจึงบอกเขาว่า ‘เอาบัญชีของท่านนั่งลงแล้วแก้เป็นห้าสิบถัง เร็วๆหน่อย’ 7แล้วเขาก็ถามอีกคนหนึ่งว่า ‘ท่านเป็นหนี้กี่มากน้อย’ เขาตอบว่า ‘เป็นหนี้ข้าวสาลีร้อยกระสอบ’ คนต้นเรือนจึงบอกว่า ‘จงเอาบัญชีของท่านแก้เป็นแปดสิบ’ 8แล้วเศรษฐีก็ชมคนต้นเรือนอธรรมนั้น เพราะเขาได้ทำโดยความฉลาด
ด้วยว่าคนของโลกนี้ ในพวกเขาเขาใช้สติปัญญาฉลาดกว่าคนของความสว่างอีก
9เราบอกท่านทั้งหลายว่าจงกระทำตัวให้มีมิตรสหายด้วยทรัพย์สมบัติอธรรม
เพื่อเมื่อทรัพย์นั้นเสียไปแล้ว เขาจะได้ต้อนรับท่านไว้ในที่อาศัยอันถาวรเป็นนิตย์
10“คนที่สัตย์ซื่อในของเล็กน้อยจะสัตย์ซื่อในของมากด้วย และคนที่อสัตย์ในของเล็กน้อย จะอสัตย์ในของมากเช่นกัน 11เหตุฉะนั้นถ้าท่านทั้งหลายไม่สัตย์ซื่อในทรัพย์สมบัติอธรรม ใครจะมอบทรัพย์สมบัติอันแท้ให้แก่ท่านเล่า 12และถ้าท่านทั้งหลายมิได้สัตย์ซื่อในของของคนอื่น ใครจะมอบทรัพย์อันแท้ให้เป็นของของท่านเล่า 13ไม่มีผู้ใดเป็นข้าสองเจ้าบ่าวสองนายได้ เพราะว่าจะชังนายข้างหนึ่ง และจะรักนายอีกข้างหนึ่ง หรือจะนับถือนายฝ่ายหนึ่ง และจะดูหมิ่นนายอีกฝ่ายหนึ่ง ท่านจะปฏิบัติพระเจ้าและจะปฏิบัติเงินทองพร้อมกันไม่ได้”

“Jesus told his disciples: “There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions. 2 So he called him in and asked him, ‘What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you cannot be manager any longer.’ 3 “The manager said to himself, ‘What shall I do now? My master is taking away my job. I’m not strong enough to dig, and I’m ashamed to beg—4 I know what I’ll do so that, when I lose my job here, people will welcome me into their houses.’ 5 “So he called in each one of his master’s debtors. He asked the first, ‘How much do you owe my master?’ 6 “ ‘Nine hundred gallons of olive oil,’ he replied. “The manager told him, ‘Take your bill, sit down quickly, and make it four hundred and fifty.’ 7 “Then he asked the second, ‘And how much do you owe?’ “ ‘A thousand bushels of wheat,’ he replied. “He told him, ‘Take your bill and make it eight hundred.’ 8 “The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. 9 I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. 10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. 11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? 12 And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? 13 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”” (Luke 16:1-13)
ข้อสังเกตุสองประการ
Two observations

(We can learn and benefit from others without having to accept everything they do.)

Two reasons Jesus told this story.

ด้วยว่าซึ่งเป็นที่นับถือมากท่ามกลางมนุษย์ ก็ยังเป็นที่เกลียดชังจำเพาะพระพักตร์พระเจ้า”

“14 The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. 15 He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight. ” (Luke 16:14-15)

What Not to Do With Your Money

2. อย่า
(Don’t Love It)
“ไม่มีผู้ใดเป็นข้าสองเจ้าบ่าวสองนายได้ เพราะว่าจะชังนายข้างหนึ่ง และจะรักนายอีกข้างหนึ่ง หรือจะนับถือนายฝ่ายหนึ่ง และจะดูหมิ่นนายอีกฝ่ายหนึ่ง ท่านจะปฏิบัติพระเจ้าและจะปฏิบัติเงินทองพร้อมกันไม่ได้”

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” (Luke 16:13)
3. อย่า
(Don’t Trust It)

4. อย่า
(Don’t Expect It to Satisfy)

(Money is a tool to use for God’s purposes.)

🔹เขา
(He looked ahead)
