Having trusted in Christ as my Savior and desiring to follow Him as my Lord, having been baptized and being in agreement with the Amazing Grace Community Church statements and structure, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with and commit to this local church family. In doing so, I relinquish any previous memberships in other churches so I can commit myself to God and this local Body to do the following:
I. I WILL PROTECT THE UNITY OF MY CHURCH
…By loving God and loving others (Mark 12:30-31)
…By refusing to gossip (Ephesians 4:29)
…By following the leadership (Hebrews 13:17)
…By submitting to the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:16)
II. I WILL SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MY CHURCH
…By helping to make disciples, including myself (Matthew 28:19-20)
…By praying for its health and growth (I Thessalonians 1:2)
…By inviting the unchurched to attend (Luke 14:23)
…By warmly welcoming those who visit (Romans 15:7)
III. I WILL SERVE THE MINISTRY OF MY CHURCH
…By discovering and using my gifts and talents (1 Peter 4:10)
…By developing a servant’s heart (Philippians 2:3-4, 7)
…By being willing to be served for God’s glory (Philippians 4:17)
IV. I WILL SUPPORT THE TESTIMONY OF MY CHURCH
…By living a holy and godly life (Philippians 1:27, 1 Peter 1:15)
…By attending services faithfully (Hebrews 10:25)
…By giving regularly and appropriately (I Corinthians 16:2)
…By encouraging one another regularly (Hebrews 10:25)
Furthermore, I agree to abide by the Holy Scriptures and submit to the Constitution and
Bylaws of Amazing Grace Community Church.
