Did you know the more you know about what Jesus accomplished, the more established you’ll be in your relationship with God?

For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.

And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
The effect of Adam’s sin:
SPIRITUALLY
Humanity would be separated from God because of Adam’s sin. We are not sinners because we sin; we are sinners because we were born into sin.
Romans 5:12 NLT
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
NATURALLY
The glory that kept all things perfect has been lifted. Creation is now subject to decay. Thorns, thistles, labor and pain, are now the established reality.

Romans 5:15 NASB
But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
Romans 5:16-17 NLT
16 And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.
17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
We should not be surprised that there is a constant battle between the kingdom of faith and the kingdom of sight.
Matthew 6:22, 24 NLT
22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light.
24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
The world’s system is in direct conflict with the kingdom of God and is triggered by how you SEE things around you.
2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT
So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
2 Corinthians 5:6 NLT
So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord.
What you fix your gaze on when trials come, will determine your victory. We live by faith by the rule of law of another kingdom, and not by sight.
Mark 11:22-24 NKJV
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God
