Who’s the Boss?
KEY TRUTH: The Lordship of Jesus Christ is the most important principle that God wants to establish in your life. Believers are made into disciples through the process of learning obedience to Jesus. The “Kingdom of God” is the language we use.
I. The Kingdom of God

REALISE THIS: The word “Lord” in Greek is “Adonai” which means “master”.
These people realised that Jesus was Master or King and as such He had the right to rule their lives. They were to follow and obey Him.
II. Lordship is Obedience
Phillipians 1:6 says, And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” God’s plan is for positive change in our lives. Our lives will take on new purposes, new goals and new characteristics as we live in faith and obedience to His word.
1. Obedience to God
As we become obedient to the Word of God, His word becomes life in us.
