Scripture: Ephesians 4:11-16 

INTRO: Teams don’t win by

  10 CORE VALUES OF A WINNING TEAM

 1.

commitment to a common vision: “Bringing Christ & People Together”

 2.

take ownership, serve

 3.

always strive to be better

 4.

communicate frequently & candidly: Don’t Assume!

 5.

cooperation requires trust & respect, no selfishness

 6.

close with a few, cordial with all, conflict with none

 7.

don’t be afraid to dream

 8.

Management
growth causes motion, motion causes friction

listen, speak the truth in love, be committed to the church’s best interest

 9. Open to

you keep doing what you’ve been doing, you keep getting what you’ve been getting

 10.

demonstrate grace, peace, love, & integrity

CLOSE: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.” (Mark 8:34-35)
