Discuss with your group who you understand the Holy Spirit to be.

Luke 3:16 John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Discuss with your group the events of Acts 2

Acts 1:5 John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Talk with your group about salvation, being filled with the Spirit and the subsequent work of baptism in the Spirit.

Discuss with your group the biblical evidence given for being baptized with the Holy Spirit and how it’s manifest through people.

Discuss the purpose of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Church and the purpose of the infilling of the individual believer.

Pray together for increased desire for the evidence of the Spirit in your lives as you commit to partnering with Him daily.
