Mark 12:1-12

Players in the Parable:
• Owner = God
• Vineyard = People of God
• Farmers/Tenants = Religious Leaders

The Tenants became

. They forget they are tenants. They start acting like owners.

The owner

with many representatives, some were beaten, and others were killed.

Lessons from the Vineyard:

(1) God repeatedly

with incredible grace and forbearance (1-6).

The Bible teaches God is incredibly

(Exodus 34:6-7; Nehemiah 9:16-18).

God

through his creation, his Word, his Son, and his Spirit.

(2) Many refuse to honor God and they

of their lives (7-8).

These tenants even reject the owners

When all God’s efforts to engage with people are ignored,

God has repeatedly made himself available to us, but some day, no one knows when, the
