Resurrection Sunday - I Am With You Always: Jesus is Alive!
Matthew 28:1-10
April 20, 2025
The miraculous takes place!
On Friday… (John 10:10, Colossians 2:13-14)
On Saturday…
On Sunday… (Matthew 27:55)
Who is there to see it?
He is not here, for he has risen!
I know why you’re here.
He’s not here, he has risen, as he said. (Matthew 16:21, 20:18-19, 26:32, 1 Corinthians 15:20, 15:50, 15:54-58)
On Sunday
Look for yourselves…
Tell the story!
Go tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead!
Coming face to face with the risen Jesus.
Don’t be afraid, tell the story!
Faith Talk
I Am With You Always: Jesus is Alive!
Matthew 28:1-10
April 20, 2025
As you gather around the table as family or friends, discuss the following questions related to today’s message.
Take time to share your story. Talk about the time when you received Christ as Savior. In light of Resurrection Sunday, talk about three things: (1) Who were you before Jesus changed you? (2) What happened when you confessed Christ as Savior and Lord? (3) What has your journey been like since that time? Celebrate each story as you share together.
On April 5, 2026, we will celebrate Easter Sunday again. As you think about your journey with Christ, what aspects of your life would like to see God change over this next year? Talk about why you want to see those changes. How will those changes affect you and those you care about? In essence, how will one more year matter in your faith journey because of the power of the cross and resurrection in your life?
