Psalm 40: 1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.

Worship is evangelism
People who are far from Christ are drawn to Him through worship:
“they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all, 25 as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!”” (1 Cor. 14:24-25).
“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” (John 12:32).
“If a church was on fire for God, people for miles would come to watch it burn.” William Booth
People close to God are sent out to share Christ after worship.
Isaiah 6:1 I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.
5 “my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”
8“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
“Worship is the goal of evangelism and evangelism is the fruit of worship.” Gerrit Gustafson
